You do not have to want the same smile forever.
If you are considering veneer replacement in Beverly Hills, you may already know exactly what you want to change. The shape. The color. The way your old veneers look when you talk.
Or you may just know they no longer feel like you.
That is enough to start a conversation. You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or a picture of the finished result.
Veneer replacement in Beverly Hills starts with you
A second set is not simply an order for the same teeth in a different shade.
You have lived with the first set. You know what you like about them and what you have spent years wishing were different. I want to hear both.
Maybe the teeth feel too prominent. Maybe the edges show when you smile. Maybe you loved them years ago, but your face and your preferences have changed.
Those are different starting points. They should not all lead to the same design.
I also want to know whether something has changed physically, not just visually. A chip, discomfort or a change at the gum line needs an examination, not an assumption based on a photograph.
The teeth underneath matter
Before we talk about what a replacement could look like, I need to understand the mouth you have now.
Your existing dental work is part of that conversation. So are your teeth, gums and bite. What is appropriate for one person with old veneers may not be appropriate for another.
This is why I cannot tell you from the age of your veneers alone whether they should be replaced.
If you are wondering about timing, I have written separately about how long veneers can last. There is no single expiration date that tells me what your teeth need today.
A new design, not a repeat
The most useful question is not, "Can you make these whiter?"
It is, "What do I want this smile to look like on my face now?"
Color matters. So do shape and proportion. I want to understand what bothers you before deciding what to change. Keeping something you love is as much a design decision as changing something you do not.

You get to see the direction
The replacement plan is individual. The process behind my work is consistent.
We start by talking about your dental history, your medical history, the mouth you have and the one you want. Then I examine your teeth, gums and bite. We take x-rays, scans and photos.
On prep day, you leave with a temporary smile. The temporaries are a real preview of the final result, not a placeholder. You live in them for two weeks.
Before you leave, we review color, shape and proportion together. How the smile sits on your face when you talk, laugh and eat. I adjust until you sign off.
Only then do I send the records to our in-house lab.
That conversation matters when you have already lived with a smile you wanted to change. I want you involved in the new direction, not waiting to discover it at the end.
I see patients in Beverly Hills and New York. Bring your questions and tell me what you want to keep, too.

Common questions
Can old veneers be replaced?
They can be considered for replacement, but the plan depends on an examination of your teeth, gums, bite and existing dental work.
Does the age of my veneers mean they need replacing?
Not by itself. How they look, how they function and the condition of the teeth and gums all matter more than a date alone.
Can a second set look different?
A replacement can be an opportunity to revisit the design. We discuss color, shape and proportion in relation to your face and what you want now.
Will I see the new smile before the final porcelain?
In my process, you wear temporaries for two weeks. We review the design together and you sign off before the records go to our in-house lab.
